New! Toddler Explore & Create Art Club
Through Smyrna Parks & Recreation
Mini Session: Thursdays, September 11 & September 18 (2 weeks)
Full Session: Thursdays, October 2 - November 13 (7 weeks)
Ages 2-4 with Caregiver: 10:30am-11:15pm
In this engaging Caregiver & Me mixed media art class we will paint, collage, draw, assemble and more! Projects will be inspired by children’s storybooks and we will create work based on an image or theme in the book. Each week, we also incorporate themed sensory play such as rainbow rice, kinetic sand, jewels and more! This class will build fine motor skills, self confidence and problem solving skills through the creative process. This is an awesome way to introduce your child to the exciting world of art making while connecting with other children and adults! Check out our Instagram to see some of our projects: @gessoartsatl. Please note, a caregiver must stay and participate in the class with the registered child.

New! Kid’s Fall Art Workshop
Presented by Smyrna Arts Council
Saturday, October 18
Ages 6-10: 1:30pm-2:30pm
Ages 3-5 with Caregiver: 3:00pm-4:00pm
The Smyrna Arts Council has partnered with Gesso Arts to provide an exciting mixed media art workshop for kids this October! Participants will make a fun fall themed wall hanging using a variety of art materials and techniques. Registered children ages 6-10 will complete their project with guidance from Gesso Arts instructors and children ages 3-5 are invited to attend with a caregiver to create their project together. Both age groups will also have an opportunity to play with our fall themed sensory bins, which are always a huge hit! Everyone in attendance will be encouraged to explore a variety of mediums and sensory experiences making this a one of a kind art workshop!
Pre-registration is required.
